Arabic is the language through which al-Qur'an and the sunnah of the Prophet(SAWS) has been transmitted through us. One cannot fully grasp the scope of Islam without some understanding of the Arabic language. Therefore, all Muslims should endeavor to learn this language, as it is a part of our heritage as Muslims.
