Community Building
MBA is seeking to establish an Islamic community within the metro Atlanta area, which will serve as a model for the establishment of similar communities in other areas across America.
It is our belief that the establishment of an Islamic community will be a powerful medium for conveying to the non-Muslim society at large, the superior moral and spiritual qualities of Islamic life. The beauty of Islamic morals and values can only be fully realized and flourish when they take shape in a community setting.
MBA defines an Islamic community as a group of Muslims living together in a specific geographical area whose community activities and interactions are based upon Islamic jurisprudence. We commonly refer to this community as an Islamic Cooperative Community ( I.C.C).
In this community, a court will be established in which a qualified Islamic judge will adjucate cases according to Islamic law. Such a community would be a safeguard against the criminal activities and corrupting vices affecting many American neighborhoods.
The Islamic community will, therefore, be a very strong witness for Dawah.
