This page shows the probability of sighting the crescent moon at the start and end of Ramadhan using the revised Yallop criterion as used by the Royal Greenwich Observatory (RGO). Sightability of the crescent is divided into 4 degrees of difficulty (A,B,C and D) ranging from "easily visible with naked eye" (A) to "visible with optical aid only" (D).
